During the meeting (May 2025) in Prague, Ing. Dagmar Janovská, Ph.D., Head of the CARC Genebank, was elected Chair of the European Genebank Managers Network. This Network of European genebanks was established in 2023 with the support of the ECPGR (the European Cooperative Programme for Plant Genetic Resources) and strengthens cooperation among genebank managers. It currently brings together 65 members from 31 European countries. More information can be found here.
